It is our honor to announce Mirthos Paper was selected by the national advocacy group Changing the Narrative as one of 10 designers to create a birthday card that “changes the narrative” on ageism in the greeting card world.

This design was created to celebrate feminist trailblazers on their birthdays with some tongue-in-cheek references that only those who were there might remember! Of course, we also reference bra burning - which is now classic lexicon of the first wave of feminism! This burning bra is an homage to Madonna’s iconic outfit, complete with “burning” candle straps all perched on a ironic retro 1950s birthday cake graphic!
