What is Mirthos?

Mirthos Paper was created by Hilary Meehan as a tonic to free your heart into the universal ether where your soul breathes poetry back into your cells. The current delivery of this is by lavish, eccentric, & earnest stationery. Further research is ongoing. Learn more about Hilary here.

Mirthos invites you to indulge in all the wild, decadent, raw, magical edges of your being. We are enthusiastic in our celebration of who you are meant to be, all dazzling & one-of-a-kind! We are effusive in general & we practice kindness. We also hug you very tight & send sincere notes when the hard parts of our exquisite existence are at the forefront. We are wild, weird & polite. It’s a skill we have honed.

Mirthos is a whole attitude of jovial good vibes - like pathos, but on the happy side.

What does the back of the card look like?

We have our distinctive logo on the back with a party of pertinent info! Each card has related artwork or color and sometimes text on the back. We do not make sweaters that only have the patterns on the front!

How in the heck does one regift a card?

Thanks for asking! If you carefully tear or cut the front off, you can write a note and send it like a postcard! Nice! You could also write a note and use it as an enclosure flat card for a gift you're giving. You could also cut it to a heart shape or another fun shape and include it inside another card for a special treat!

What in the world is a "euro flap envelope"??

They are the invitation style envelopes that come to a deep point on the back instead of sealing straight across (deep V!). You often see these for formal occasions, which I think is a lovely juxtaposition with the wild designs inside. My cards ARE an invitation.

When your person gets this in the mail, I want them to know it's something special from the moment they see & feel the envelope.
