I’m HIlary Meehan, founder of Mirthos Paper & I believe in helping everyone find & express the magic juicy parts of themselves that are unique to just them! I’m wildly enthusiastic about finding these gems & helping that inform how one talks about or presents their work. I use playful & intuitive methods to make it easy & fun. I’ll guide attendees through a mini-meditation to focus on the vibe of their business. After this, I’ll lead a fast brainstorming session with some not-so-typical business questions that draw out fun specifics that really help shape the personality of one’s business. This is one of my super powers! It’s different & I’m not afraid to do it different!

This is a no brainer for a round table but could also expand into a breakout group. As a longer presentation, I would speak more in depth about my own path to get to this place - which is really a 15+ year journey - plus provide quotes & other various nuggets of inspiration! Things about remembering your voice changes & to check in from time to time to see what you need to say, too. The breakout would allow a bit more focus in our mini-meditation (but we can create our own bubble in the round table zone, too!) & spend a little more time, obvs, on answering our vibe questions in the brainstorm. Then we could discuss surprising ideas & make a list of answers on a giant pad of paper for some examples (sometimes people need to hear someone else say “pigs in blankets served on silver platters” to let themselves open up to the real deal!!) - this is where they willl then be able to go home & try again, it’s a fun exercise! There will be obvious lessons & takeaways specific to each business owner!

I’ve wanted my own business, my own thing that is all mine all my life. It has taken a lot of finding myself work to get to where you know me today - not that everyone needs to find themselves, but this has helped me find & trust myself & my fun path!

I’ve worked professionally in architecture, studied art (MFA, yes, me), taught art & architecture at the college level (yep!), started a retail store from the ground up, started a stationery line from my art, painted murals for museums, made floats for parades, driven across the country 3 times, and learned to make a soufflé from scratch!
